Its history begins during the British colonial rule in India, so any attempt by the British to supply their troops and the citizens of their colonies failed as the beer could not stand the journey. The addition of extra hops as a preservative gave the solution, giving beers more bitter than the classic Pale Ales. So they were baptized IPA. Solo Psaki, where psaki means bitter in the Cretan dialect, is distinguished for the aromas of pine, herbs and citrus.
